Letter g drawn by me as Spiro contours, using FontForge. At the time of this writing, this is the design of the g for my font family (being developed) "Valley".

Beautiful; I remember Manfred Klein
spoke somewhere about doing artwork
(painting?) of just one letter.

Sorry I forgot to say thank you! I was thinking about Manfred Klein.

I have the book "Type and Typographers" that he co-wrote, but it is disappointingly badly written. His is the best writing in it, however. :)

That's why it's called an ear. :) But in this case it looks like sort of like a dog's ear on purpose.
