Printed on coated paper. There are specimens for larger sizes, too, both hot metal and hand set, but some might be hard to scan and in any case I’m not as eager to do the larger sizes. Maybe I'll scan, maybe I won't. The existing GB1911 is somewhere around 11 or 12 points; I think I inferred it was 11, but don't remember how. :) (Type sizes are not quite a scientific art.)

Also, because Walbaum on coated paper is excellent to base my work upon, but is rather light for my purposes and with too high contrast, I tried the Chinese-Japanese-Korean emboldening feature of fontforge and it did just what I wanted -- emboldened and reduce contrast.

Using fontforge's expansion function without italic correction may do a good job of adapting the Walbaum italic to smaller sizes.
